This elementary school safety tab uses lively cartoons to teach and reach kids on the key issues of safety. Topics covered include walking safety, bike safety, playground safety, water safety, fire safety, auto safety, sports safety and personal safety. The lesson for kids is pure common sense: No matter what you do, it’s best to Be Safe, Not Sorry.

Sample Newspaper Activity
Go through the TV listings in the paper and pick a character from a favorite show to be a spokesperson for bike safety. Write a sentence stating why you picked this character. Draw a poster featuring the person. Display the posters in class.
